Royal College of Nursing COVID19 Resources

Under the side section of this website Resources Developed by RCN Northern Ireland, there are several YouTube videos based on clinical skills, as well as the other information on the link, Again these are COVID19 related resources, but it is important to keep upto date.

Here you will find the statements from the NMC relating to COVID19 and what this means for you as a student on theory currently.

This section of the website is a one-stop shop for all things clinical skills. If you know any clinical skills websites and resources, please let me know and I can share them here.

Royal Collage of Nursing

This section of the RCN's website talks readers through several clinical skills from skin assessment to sepsis.

UK Resuscitation Council

The UK Resuscitation Council cover lots of topics relating to basic and advanced life support. You can find helpful guidelines and videos on their website around a range of topics.

Elsevier Clinical Skills

This is the site that my university uses for teaching clinical skills and does require an institution to be signed up, however they do offer 37 free skills which I have shared here.

Royal Marsden Online Manual

For full access to this site, you will need to log in via your institution, but this is the most comprehensive collection of clinical skills.

Nursing Standard How-To

Many of the articles in the Nursing Standard How-To series are free to access, however, all should be accessible if you log in through your institution.
